BWW Exclusive: MARY POPPINS Creative Team Shares Broadway Memories- George Stiles, Anthony Drewe, Stephen Mear & Richard Eyre!

As the Broadway production of Mary Poppins comes to a close, BroadwayWorld has been in touch with the award-winning creative team that put together the hit musical years ago. In the interview below, composer George Stiles, lyricist Anthony Drewe, choreographer Stephen Mear and director Richard Eyre chat about how they got involved with the show, reveal some of thier favorite Poppins memories, and share what being a part of the magic has meant to them.

Ryan Silverman & Hannah Elless Join SOMEWHERE IN TIME at Portland Center Stage

Producers announced today that Ryan Silverman (Passion, The Phantom of the Opera) and Hannah Elless (Godspell, Mamma Mia!) will star as Richard Collier and Elise McKenna in Portland Center Stage's (PCS) upcoming world-premiere production of the new musical Somewhere in Time, based on the novel by renowned author Richard Matheson (I Am Legend, What Dreams May Come) and the subsequent hit film starring Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour and Christopher Plummer.

Newnan Theatre Company Presents RABBIT HOLE, Now thru 2/24

In keeping with their proud artistic tradition, Newnan Theatre Company once again tackles a difficult subject head on. This time, it's a family grieving over the loss of a child. David Lindsay-Abaire's 'Rabbit Hole' opens tonight, February 14 and runs through February 24. The play contains some mature language.

'Big Ang' Adds Encore in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING Off-Broadway, 4/6

The original thought of 'Big Ang' doing one night in NYC at St. Luke's has quickly been changed since she sold out less than twenty-four hours following her announcement on the Wendy Williams show. After receiving hundreds of tweets and facebook messages from angry fans who could not get tickets, she called her agent and immediately asked for another night in 'My Big Gay Italian Wedding.' She said, 'I fell in love with the cast and crew of this show during rehearsals and I think Broadway could be what I was born to do!'

BWW Interview: Ramin Karimloo on His Toronto Homecoming in LES MISERABLES in Fall of 2013

Ramin Karimloo was first bitten by the theatre bug upon seeing Colm Wilkinson in the original production of The Phantom of the Opera in Toronto in the late 80s. Since then he has gone on to play the title role in both The Phantom and Love Never Dies in London's West End, and now will come home to Toronto for the first time in the Mirvish Production of LES MISERABLES which was just announced for their 2013-2014 season. BWW spoke with Ramin about how he feels about coming home, the pressures of the role of Jean Valjean, Sheytoons, protecting his voice and more.

Michael DuBois Brings THE SOLO CIRCUS to Centenary Stage Today
