Shrek The Musical will spread goodwill and cheer this festive season. On Thursday, December 15, 2011, students from Blessed Sacrament RC Primary School, Islington treated audience members to Christmas carols following the matinee performance at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Kate Winslet and Jodi Foster star in the film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play, God Of Carnage, under the direction of Roman Polanski. Reza has adapted her original script for the screen alongside Polanski.

As previously announced, Ghost The Musical on Broadway will star its UK leads Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy as Sam and Molly, when it premieres this Spring at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. They will be joined by Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner and newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown. Preview performances will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Following a triumphant opening at the Cambridge Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical has extended its booking period. Tickets are now on sale up to, and including, 21 October 2012. The new stage musical, which has captured the imagination of young and old alike, transferred to the West End on Tuesday 25 October 2011.

Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans are to join the cast of Ghost The Musical to play Molly and Sam in Matthew Warchus' stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film. Ghost The Musical opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End in June this year where it has subsequently been playing to packed houses. Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans join Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl who continue in the roles they originated on stage when the production premiered. Ghost The Musical is currently booking until 13 October 2012

Matilda The Musical played to sold-out audiences at the RSC's The Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon for twelve weeks from November 2010 to January 2011. Roald Dahl's magical story about a girl with extraordinary powers has been a favourite novel for millions of people across the world since it was published in 1988.

Ghost The Musical announced today that an exclusive presale offer will be extended through The New York Times, in conjunction with Ticketmaster, prior to availability to the general public. Tickets will be available exclusively through The New York Times beginning Sunday, November 13, 2011, through Wednesday, November 30, 2011. In addition, The New York Times will offer a free 12 week digital subscription to NYTimes.com and smartphone app with every order.

Dean Chisnall will play Shrek and Neil McDermott will play Lord Farquaad in the West End stage hit SHREK THE MUSICAL® from February 29, 2012. They will join Richard Blackwood who will continue in the role of Donkey in the hit musical at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Sony Pictures Classics's CARNAGE will be released in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on December 16th, 2011. The upcoming film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's original play and Tony Award winning Broadway production GOD OF CARNAGE! is an ensemble cast of Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Roman Polanski's upcoming God of Carnage features John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz in the movie version of Yasmina Reva's Tony-winning play. The film just debuted this summer at the Venice Film Festival (August 31- September 10) and opened the New York Film Festival on September 30.
