For a post-prom extravaganza, this week's elimination was totally lacking in the drama department. No one cried, no one expounded upon the desperate struggles of learning to ballroom dance. Nobody even seemed remotely stressed out about getting the axe. Talk about a letdown!

TONIGHT, APRIL 2 one couple will be eliminated on 'Dancing with the Stars the Results Show' (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The show will feature musical performances from singer-songwriter Demi Lovato and American pop rock band Huey Lewis & the News.

Dust off your tux and put on your dancing shoes because "Dancing with the Stars" is taking you to the prom, MONDAY, APRIL 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The competition continues as the 11 remaining couples cut a rug by performing everything from a Viennese Waltz to the Paso Doble. Adding to the excitement, viewers will crown their celebrity "Prom King" and "Prom Queen" by voting on Twitter. The winning couple will receive bonus judges' points and be revealed on "Dancing with the Stars the Results Show."

Huey Lewis and The News' 1983 'Sports' album spawned four Top 10 hit singles (and another that cracked the Top 20), iconic music videos, and sold almost 10 million copies. To celebrate the blockbuster album's 30th anniversary, Lewis has personally overseen an expanded commemorative edition, to be released May 14 by Capitol/UMe.

One World Theatre, Austin's premiere music venue known presenting diverse music and cultural arts in an up close and personal setting has announced its 2013 Summer Season. Highlights include top singer-songwriters like Dar Williams and Jimmy Webb, contemporary jazz greats like Euge Groove and Earl Klugh, Latin music icons like Sergio Mendes and Arturo Sandoval and local favorites like Walking Woody's Road featuring Jimmy LaFave, Eliza Gilkyson, Slaid Cleaves and Sam Baker. From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. More than two dozen classic hits - including 'I Walk the Line,' 'A Boy Named Sue,' 'Folsom Prison Blues,' and the title tune - performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a uniquely American legend! Richard Maltby, Jr. created the piece and will also direct The Rep's production. It was originally conceived by William Meade with orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby. Malty is re-conceiving his Johnny Cash tribute specifically for a five-member ensemble for The Rep's Stackner Cabaret. The cast features Trenna Barnes, Eddie Clendening, Jason Edwards, David Miles Keenan and Mark W. Winchester, who are all making their Rep debuts. Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash runs in the Stackner Cabaret from tonight, March 1 - May 5, and opens Sunday, March 3.

In a wide-ranging season that features opera, theatre, comedy, dance, symphony, international and contemporary music, Wolf Trap continues to strengthen its commitment to the presentation of high quality, accessible and affordable arts experiences for the broadest possible audience. Tickets to the newly announced shows go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 am, with more performances to be announced later this spring.

Headlong will return to the Almeida Theatre following the critically acclaimed 2008 co-production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. The collaboration will continue in autumn 2013 with a new co-production - the World Premiere of American Psycho, with book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. American Psycho will be directed by Rupert Goold and produced in association with David Johnson and Jesse Singer at Act 4 Entertainment.

By the last August, I had fallen so far behind on writing reviews of cabaret shows from the spring and early summer (I guess it's a positive when there are more performers and shows in New York than days in the week) that I decided to play catch up by combining a bunch of critiques into one big column. I hadn't planned on doing that again, but this fall there were so many shows that once again I couldn't keep up. but at least I've beaten my self-imposed deadline New Year's Eve deadline of posting these reviews of 12 shows, all staged between September-December by lovely, attractive women (okay, so one is a gender-bender) of varying talents and levels on the cabaret depth chart, from established stars to MAC and Bistro Award-winners to comeback 'kids' to interesting beginners and occasional performers who are in the game to follow their bliss. Whether their performances were rave-worthy, earning of qualified praise, or not quite up to snuff, they all deserve kudos for taking the plunge.
