Harriet Thorpe will take over the role of ‘Tanya' in the smash-hit musical 'MAMMA MIA' on Monday 14 June 2010. Best-known for her television roles in the BBC's 'Brittas Empire' and 'Absolutely Fabulous', Harriet's West End credits include ‘Madame Morrible' in 'Wicked', ‘Fraulein Kost' in 'Cabaret' and ‘Madame Thénardier' in 'Les Misérables'.

The Broadway cast of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, led by 'Dynamos' Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, Judy McLane and Gina Ferrall will toast the 10th anniversary of 'Real Simple Magazine' with a live performance from Grand Central Station tomorrow, Thursday, April 15th at 6:00p.

The National Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming productions, starting with Moira Buffini's WELCOME TO THEBES which will run starting June 15. Nikki Amuka-Bird and David Harewood will star in the World Premiere of the play, which tells the Greek myth of the first democratically elected president of Thebes in a modernized way. The show will be directed by Richard Eyre and the cast will also feature Madeline Appiah, Rakie Ayola, Omar Brown, Jessie Burton, Jacqueline Defferary, Daniel Fine, Karlina Grace, Rene Gray, Tracy Ifeachor, Irma Inniss, Chuk Iwuji, Alexia Khadime, Ferdinand Kingsley, Aicha Kossoko, Simon Manyonda, Bruce Myers, Pamela Nomvete, Calre Perkins, Victor Power, Daniel Poyser, Joy Richardson, Vinette Robinson, Zara Tempest-Walters, and Michael Wildman.

The North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of MARY POPPINS will go on sale to the public on April 23 at 10 a.m.

Mamma Mia! celebrated its 300th performance in Mexico at Centro Cultural Telmex 1. The production is performed entirely in Spanish.
