International smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! has broken box office history with more than £2million in ticket sales in just six weeks.

Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to the Fox Theatre from September 23-28 as a special to the 2014/2015 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta series.

Niamh Perry plays the role of Sophie in the MAMMA MIA! International Tour when it plays its exclusive UK Summer Season at the Blackpool Opera House now through 14 September 2014. Niamh previously played the role in the West End in 2009, when the musical celebrated its 10th birthday. On Thursday (June, 19 2014) Las Vegas cast members from the smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! spent the morning visiting Opportunity Village. During the visit the cast took a tour of the beautiful Engelstad campus and got to meet some of the OVIPs while they were hard at work.

Following the recent 15th birthday celebrations for MAMMA MIA! in London, there will be major cast changes from Monday 9 June 2014. Rebecca Lock will be joining the cast as Rosie, Alasdair Harvey as Harry, Charles Daish as Bill and Alice Stokoe as Sophie Sheridan and Lloyd Green as Sky.

On Sunday 6 April, the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! will celebrate its 15th birthday in London. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, who have rarely performed together since ABBA disbanded in 1982, will join the cast of MAMMA MIA! in a musical finale at this year's Olivier Awards as part of the birthday celebrations. This historic performance will be televised for the ITV highlights show, which will be broadcast at 22:15 on Sunday 13 April. MAMMA MIA! has also extended its booking period to 25 April 2015.

After a nationwide search, full casting has been announced for the highly anticipated Las Vegas production of MAMMA MIA!, which begins performances at The New Tropicana resort in Las Vegas May 8. The talented cast features MAMMA MIA! alumni, including all three Dynamos as well as several Las Vegas locals who will join the company.

New Adventures, Martin McCallum and Marc Platt have announced that EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, devised, directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, will return to the Theatre Royal Glasgow on Wednesday 19 until Saturday 22 November 2014

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, go on sale to the public Thursday, March 13 at 10 AM. MAMMA MIA! will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited one-week engagement from May 13 through May 18, 2014.

The producers of the MAMMA MIA! International Tour have announced extra dates at the Blackpool Opera House this summer. The exclusive UK Summer Season was originally due to run from 20 June to 31 August, but, due to a huge demand for tickets, the season has now been extended until 14 September 2014. Lyric Opera of Chicago presents a brand-new production of Gioachino Rossini's crowning comedic glory, The Barber of Seville, conceived by the Tony Award-winning director Rob Ashford in both his Lyric and operatic debut. There will be 10 total performances: February 1, 3, 15, 18, 21, and 25 at 7:30pm and February 6, 9, 12, and 28 at 2:00pm.
