Annette Badland Announced As A Patron Of Arion Productions

Arion Productions has announced actor Annette Badland as their patron. She joins composer Howard Goodall CBE and playwright Martin Sherman as champions of the London based theatre company, under the Artistic Direction of Andrew Keates.

One of Australian audiences' favourite singers and presenters, Aled Jones MBE, returns this spring to complete what has been an extraordinary journey. The final instalment in his One Voice album trilogy - One Voice: Believe - is released on Decca Records on 20 July. The first two albums in the series dominated the Australian ARIA Classical Charts.

National Youth Music Theatre Announces 2018 Season

The National Youth Music Theatre is proud to announce their 2018 season, opening with a mini touring production of Super Hero at Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds as part of The Bury Festival before going on to Curve, Leicester and, finally, The Rose Theatre, Kingston for the International Youth Arts Festival.

London Musical Theatre Orchestra Announces 2018 Season

London Musical Theatre Orchestra is proud to announce its 2018 season which features three spectacular musicals in concert: Tony Award-winning Camelot by Lerner and Loewe at the London Palladium; Girlfriends, composed by Emmy Award-winner Howard Goodall and starring Lucie Jones and Lauren Samuels, at Bishopsgate Institute; and the return of festive favourite A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theatre. The concerts follow London Musical Theatre Orchestra and Hackney Empire's presentation of Martin Smith's King at Hackney Empire.

Cast Announced For MAMMA MIA! International Tour

Full casting has been announced for the sensational feel-good musical MAMMA MIA! which comes to Palace Theatre, Manchester from 3rd - 14th July 2018 as part of its international tour. Shona White (Donna Sheridan), Nicky Swift (Rosie), Helen Anker (Tanya), Tamlyn Henderson (Sam Carmichael), Daniel Crowder (Harry Bright), Matthew Rutherford (Bill Austin), Lucy May Barker (Sophie Sheridan), Phillip Ryan (Sky), Leisha Mollyneaux (Ali), Lottie Henshall (Lisa), Matt Jordan-Pidgeon (Pepper) and Michael Nelson (Eddie) will star in the production. At certain performances the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Natalie Langston.

Review Roundup: THE LAST SHIP UK Tour Kicks Off in Newcastle

The UK premiere of The Last Ship - the acclaimed musical by the internationally renowned musician Sting - just opened at Northern Stage in Newcastle. The production has a TONY-nominated original score and lyrics composed by Sting. It will play a 4-week season in Newcastle before embarking on a major UK & Ireland Tour.

The choir will perform works by Handel, Purcell, Byrd (including his haunting Mass for Four Voices), and more as a part of Stephen Darlington's farewell tour after more than 40 years of association with Christ Church.

YANK! is based on the Off-Broadway hit production from 2010, with book and lyrics by American writer David Zellnik, with his brother Joseph Zellnik's musical score paying homage to the timeless music of the 1940s. The musical is directed by James Baker, and is produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment, Hope Mill Theatre, Ben Millerman with Jim Kierstead and Guy James. Photo Flash: Fellini Adaptation LA STRADA Celebrates Opening Night at The Other Palace

One of the true masterpieces of modern cinema, Federico Fellini's 1957 Oscar-winning film, LA STRADA (The Road), is being brought life on stage in a brand new adaptation directed by Olivier Award nominee Sally Cookson, with music composed by Benji Bower. The production received its world premiere at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, followed by a national tour. The show opened on 30 May in its London premiere at The Other Palace, the newest addition to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Theatre Group, where it will run until 8 July 2017. London Transfer of YANK! Finds Full Company

Full casting is announced for YANK! which transfers to the Charing Cross Theatre in the summer for a seven week season from Monday 3 July - Saturday 19 August 2017. The UK spring premiere of the musical production at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester received extensive critical acclaim.
