A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

Suddenly, footage! BroadwayWorld has procured part of a recording from this summer's ENCORES! production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Below, watch stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Ellen Greene sing the sweet duet, 'Suddenly, Seymour.'

Today in 2009, The Little Mermaid closed at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, where it ran for 685 performances. The Little Mermaid is based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. The musical's book is by Doug Wright, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman (written for the film) and new lyrics by Glenn Slater. The original cast featured Sierra Boggess in the title role of Ariel, Sean Palmer as Prince Eric, Brian D'Addario and Trevor Braun alternate as Flounder, Norm Lewis as King Triton, Sherie Rene Scott as Ursula, Tituss Burgess as Sebastian, Tyler Maynard as Flotsam, Derrick Baskin as Jetsam, Jonathan Freeman as Grimsby, and John Treacy Egan as Chef Louis.

Just last month, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taran Killam, Eddie Cooper, and more took the stage with original Little Shop of Horrors star Ellen Greene to perform in the Encores! Single tickets for the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2015 - 2016 U.S. Bank Broadway Series shows will go on sale Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m.

Lauren Marcus, recently seen in Two River Theater's world premiere production of Be More Chill, takes over the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at Sharon Playhouse. Anneliese van der Pol was unable to continue with the production due to a family emergency.  Check out a first look at the cast in action below!

Disney India today announced plans to bring the timeless classic Beauty and the Beast to the Indian stage for the first time ever. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this classic musical love story will be presented to Indian audiences on the same scale as the mega-productions seen on New York's Broadway and on London's West End.
