Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley is familiar enough to feel comfortable but innovative enough to bring new thoughts and emotions to the forefront.

Portland Center Stage at The Armory's 2016-2017 season kicks off with the hilarious and rockin' sci-fi musical, Little Shop of Horrors, based on the film by Roger Corman, with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken. The demonic plant will take over the U.S. Bank Main Stage with preview performances beginning September 10; an opening night on September 16; and performances running through October 16. Bill Fennelly directs a cast featuring Nick Cearley, Gina Milo, Jamison Stern, Chaz Rose, David Meyers, Ebony Blake, Johari Nandi and Alexis Tidwell.

The Australian production of Disney's Broadway blockbuster, Aladdin, has arrived at Sydney's Capitol Theatre, and you can check out highlights below!

Disney's Aladdin, a new musical comedy based on the classic Academy Award®- winning animated film, will have its Australian premiere in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow night, 11th August 2016.

The out-of-this-world hit musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, with book & lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, based on the film by Roger Corman, screenplay by Charles Griffith, runs August 19 - September 11 at City Theatre, Austin.

It's been an enchanting carpet ride for the company of Aladdin since they opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre in March of 2014! On August 7th, they celebrated their 1,001st performance on Broadway and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the magic! Check out the photos below:

Prepare to be scared silly with the cult classic Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, the first show in Playhouse on Park's 2016-17 Mainstage Series. This show offers fun for the whole family! Opening night isFriday, September 16, at 8:00pm, with a pre-performance wine and cheese reception from 7pm-8pm. 

The talented pair launch into a special rendition of the musical's second act vaudevillian turn, 'Somebody's Got Your Back.'

Due to overwhelming demand, Theatre Under the Stars' (TUTS) acclaimed productions of Disney's Beauty and the Beast & West Side Story will extend their runs by one week. These seven newly added performances will see the shows run at Stanley Park's picturesque Malkin Bowl (on alternating evenings) through to August 27, 2016.

Actor's Express will stage the off-Broadway hit Little Shop of Horrors next summer, July 15 - August 20 2017.
