Goodspeed Musicals continues its commitment to innovative, thought-provoking works with a bold reimagining of the witty and ridiculous The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. The tremendously talented cast of four will be Tony Sheldon playing the role of Sir, Caesar Samayoa appearing as Cocky, Michelle Aravena as The Kid, and Gregory Treco as The Stranger.
MAURICE HINES TAPPIN' THRU LIFE is a swinging, song and dance musical that celebrates the astonishing showmanship of one of the last great tap dancers of a by-gone era still working today and whose collaborators were a jaw-dropping, who's who of theatre, music, film and television. Co-starring the fierce tap dancing Manzari brothers, John and Leo, and the all female vivacious Diva Jazz Orchestra, the show is directed by Jeff Calhoun. Performances began December 23rd at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street), and opened January 11th. Known for her wide range of dramatic and dynamic roles as a soloist at NYCB, including Anita in Jerome Robbins' West Side Story Suite, Pazcoguin will perform in all of the evening shows, in which she will be featured in the Chita Rivera role in Jack Cole's 'Beale Street Blues,' Victoria's solo from Cats, and Jerome Robbins' 'Mr. Monotony.'
