NCLR (National Council of La Raza) the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization today announced that this year s revamped 2009 ALMA Awards® will showcase more Latino talent in more arenas than ever before. NCLR President and CEO Janet Murguía and Executive Producer Eva Longoria Parker made the announcement at a news conference at Beso Restaurant, Longoria Parker s Latin-themed restaurant in Hollywood. Among the major changes to this acclaimed show is the addition of a co-host, the actor, comedian, and talk show host George Lopez.

This production features all the elements of a big time Broadway musical-huge group numbers, larger than life characters, tight harmonies, and dynamic choreography. However, every line, note, and step of this musical is completely improvised-made up right there on the spot based on suggestions from the audience.

After the performances the cast celebrated the event and BroadwayWorld's cameras were there!

Nathan Lane presents Sleepwalk With Me, a new comedy written by and starring Mike Birbiglia, which is currently playing The Bleecker Street Theater, off Broadway (45 Bleecker Street Theater, just East of Lafayette Street). Performances began October 17th, 2008. The show had an official opening on November 11th, BroadwayWorld sent out cameras to mix and mingle with the celebratory crowd as they cheered Birbiglia on!
