The New Group launches its 2013-2014 Off-Broadway season with the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley's The Jacksonian, arriving in Fall 2013. Bonnie & Clyde, a star-studded miniseries for HISTORY and LIFETIME, has begun filming on location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The four-hour, two-night event miniseries stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) in the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, the Depression-era Outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades. Sundance Channel's highly anticipated original series 'Rectify' will debut on April 22, 2013 at 9:00pm et/pt with two episodes. The six-episode hour-long series, created and written by Ray McKinnon (The Accountant, That Evening Sun, Mud) and executive produced by Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein (the team behind the critically-acclaimed AMC series, 'Breaking Bad'), marks the first wholly owned Sundance Channel scripted production.
To celebrate the launch of Sundance Channel's first wholly owned original scripted project, 'Rectify', the network has partnered with Art House Convergence and Sundance Cinemas to offer the public a sneak peek at more than a dozen theaters across the country. On the evening of Tuesday, April 16, the participating theaters will screen the first two episodes of the six-part series followed by a Skype Q & A with members of the cast. There will be no cost to attend the screening, however the Osborne Association will be accepting donations. 'Rectify' is set to premiere on Sundance Channel on Monday, April 22 at 9:00pm et/pt with a two hour debut.
