FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade in association with Saudade Theatre (Producers, Vanessa Varela & Filipe Valle Costa) will present the United States Premiere of Mickael de Oliveira's The Constitution, translated by Maria Ines Marques and directed by Jill DeArmon (Assistant Director, Pedro Marnoto Pereira), August 31-September 10 at UNDER St. Marks

A summer tradition returns to Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre when the family musical, 'The Wizard of Oz' takes the stage. Set to run for three weekends, the beloved musical will begin on Friday, August 4 and continue through Sunday, August 20, 2017. Performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Opening next Today, July 28, Bard SummerScape presents the long overdue American staged premiere of Dimitrij (1882). Set to a libretto by Marie Cervinkova-Riegrova, one of the relatively few 19th-century women to contribute to the genre, Antonín Dvorák's grand opera is rarely produced outside the Czech Republic, and only received its U.S. concert premiere more than a century after its composition.
