The Factory Theater presents the world premiere of The Adventures of Spirit Force Five, playing June 29 - August 11 at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. The new play is written by Jill Oliver and directed by Spenser Davis. Previews are Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). July 28, 1968 was one of those perfect English summer days when British photographer, Tom Murray, photographed the famed rock and roll group.  The shoot was done on the run (literally) all over London in order to escape the hordes of screaming Beatles fans that followed them everywhere.  Rushing from location to location inspired the name of the famous collection: The Mad Day: Summer of '68.These images would become the LAST publicity shoot of all four Beatles together– and represent the quintessential Beatles at the height of their psychedelic period and are considered the most important color photographs of the group.  The Beatles officially disbanded in 1970.

Actress/stand-up Jackie Hoffman took the world by storm with her electric performance as Mamacita in Feud: Bette & Joan last year on Fox TV. She has since played in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Broadway and is now bringing her new one-woman show Memoircita! to the LGBT Center May 11-13. Hoffman took time from her busy schedule to give us the dope on what to look for in her new show. We all loved you as Mamacita in Feud: Bette and Joan. Was this a difficult characterization for you? If so, describe how?

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards, will play Sacramento Community Center Theater for a two-week engagement from May 16 - 27 as part of the Broadway On Tour series.

Is it a rock concert? A musical production? Or an Irish dance show? Rockin' Road to Dublin can be categorized as all three. The one-night-only engagement of this unique Irish dance and rock concert at Syracuse's Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater proved to be a fantastic experience. It offers a fresh take on traditional Irish tunes, showcases some very familiar classic rock hits, incorporates Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Academy Award-winning song 'Falling Slowly,' along with Irish dance. The combination of all of this results in a powerful and memorable entertainment experience. The concert/dance show is referred to as 'the new generation of Irish rock and dance because there's more than one road to the Heart of Ireland.' I must say this generation of Irish dancers is on point!

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards®, will play Milwaukee's Marcus Center for a one-week engagement on June 26-July 1. The North American tour launched in October 2016 and the Milwaukee engagement will mark the 58th and final city for the tour.

REBEL AND MISFITS PRODUCTIONS is thrilled to announce their upcoming production of "The Realistic Joneses" by award-winning Will Eno, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Florida Repertory Theatre's 2018 PlayLab Festival of New Plays and Emerging Voices kicks off May 3 with six new play readings, the world premiere production of last year's festival winner, 'George Washington's Teeth' by Mark St. Germain, a Playwright's Panel discussion, and a Keynote Address by alumna playwright, Daryl Lisa Fazio.
