Syfy's new hit series Helix continued to set channel DVR records, leaping 82% among Adults 18-49 (1.34 million), 74% in Adults 25-54 (1.55 million) and 64% in total viewers (3.0 million) for the premiere on January 10 – the largest increases ever for aSyfy scripted series in L7 viewing.

On the next episode of Syfy's HELIX titled "274", with the number of infected rising, Alan forces Hatake to open up a new section of the base while Julia tries to make sense of her encounter with Peter.

Intensifying the infection of the American television audience, Syfy's new drama Helix shattered channel ratings records for L+3 growth, soaring 64 percent in Adults 18-49 (1.2 million), 57 percent among Adults 25-54 (1.4 million) and 53 percent among total viewers (2.8 million).

Helix, Syfy's highly anticipated new series from Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), garnered robust numbers during its special 90-minute premiere on Friday, January 10 from 10-11:30PM (ET/PT), ranking as the #2 cable entertainment program among Adults 25-54 (893K) in its time period.

While Broadway song and dance man Hugh Jackman is currently working on the development of a third installment of the WOLVERINE franchise for 20th Century Fox, he shared in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that he is unsure as to whether he himself will return as the title character.

As always, Syfy will ring in 2014 with its annual New Year's Twilight Zone marathon beginning December 31 and concluding on New Year's Day.
