The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher have announced a partnership with The Sean Kimberling Testicular Cancer Foundation, to celebrate Movember, the global charity that raises funds and awareness to combat prostate cancer and mental health challenges. Movember, which invites men to join the movement by growing a moustache for the 30-days of November, is a charity movement especially close to the heart of Peter and the Starcatcher's own mustachioed pirate, Black Stache, who rightly claims "the 'stache is on everyone's lips…."

Raven Theatre's new play development series, called [Working Title], will present a fully staged workshop production of Floating, by New York-based playwright Eric Lane, Monday, November 4 through Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Floating was named finalist at PlayPenn's New Play Conference, Multi-Stages New Works Contest and Berkshire Playwrights Lab. Curtain times for all three performances will be 7:30 pm. Rachel Edwards Harvith will direct.

Chvala is the founder and artistic director of the Flying Foot Forum and has previously served as both director and movement director for the production. Longtime Guthrie actor J.C. Cutler will reprise the role of grubby miser Ebenezer Scrooge. Cutler has been involved in 30 productions at the Guthrie since 1993, including five productions of A Christmas Carol - appearing as Ebenezer Scrooge (2011), Bob Cratchit (1995, 1997), Banker (1996) and Young Scrooge (1993, 1994) - and was last seen on a Guthrie stage in this past summer's original romantic comedy Pride and Prejudice.
