La Femme Theatre Productions presents the revival of Tennessee William's A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Austin Pendleton.After staging a string of successful co-productions with top Off-Broadway theater companies, La Femme is thrilled to debut its first solo production.

Austin Pendleton and Barbara Bleier return to downtown's hideaway, Pangea, in June, with STARTING HERE,- The Songs of Richard Maltby and David Shire. There are three performances scheduled: June 7, 21, and 28th at 7pm. Pendleton has been friends with Maltby and Shire since they were all undergraduates at Yale in the 1960's, and had appeared in several of their student productions

Shakespeare's most celebrated tragedy will run January 16-February 25, 2018 at Sidney Harman Hall.

Actor, director, mentor, friend and beloved former drama professor at Whitman College John R. 'Jack' Freimann died January 3, 2018 in Huntington Beach, California. He was 91. A member of Whitman's Harper Joy Theatre faculty for more than 30 years, he retired to New York City in 1992 to resume his professional acting career. The namesake for Harper Joy's Freimann Studio Theatre, he also founded the facility's famed poster collection, to which he contributed long after leaving Walla Walla.

HB Studio, one of New York's most venerable institutions for theater training and practice, will host a Memorial Tribute to Earle Hyman. Formerly of HB's acting faculty, Mr. Hyman was a longtime HB friend. A brilliant actor, teacher and mentor, Mr. Hyman's career broke many boundaries, both in the United States and abroad. HB takes pride in honoring his legacy and invites friends, family, students, colleagues, and admirers to celebrate his life.

Award-winning and sector-leading London based theater company Frantic Assembly (Movement Direction, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) visits NYC's HB Studio this Fall to teach a Physical Theater Masterclass. Frantic Assembly's widely studied method of devising theater from a physical starting point has been impacting theatrical practice for up to 24 years. The workshop, now enrolling, is scheduled for October 22, 2017.

???????Horton Foote's The Traveling Lady, directed by Austin Pendleton, opened on June 22 and was originally set to run through July 16, 2017, has been extended and will now run through July 30, 2017 at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.).

Cherry Lane Theatre's Founder's Project will celebrate 100 years of Horton Foote as they present, in a co-production with La Femme Theatre Productions, The Traveling Lady, directed by Austin Pendleton.
