The award-winning Vital Theatre Company and Hit Entertainment are excited to bring Angelina Ballerina The Musical to the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. A family-friendly favorite delighting New York families since its sold-out initial run in October 2010, this energetic and fun-filled musical will visit Coralville on Sunday, November 10, with performances at 1pm and 4pm. With book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Ben Morss, and Direction/Choreography by Sam Viverito, the musical is based on the book series by Katherine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig.

Angelina Ballerina is dancing into Mamaroneck! In anticipation of the off-Broadway hit, Angelina Ballerina The Musical, which comes to Mamaroneck on February 16 & 17, bestselling author of the beloved Angelina Ballerina series, Katharine Holabird, will be doing a reading and signing books on Saturday February 9.

Last year's holiday favorite ANGELINA BALLERINA™ THE VERY MERRY HOLIDAY MUSICAL returns to Vital Stage for another holiday season! Based on the characters created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig, the Angelina Ballerina™ The Musical creative team returns with book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Ben Morss, and direction and choreography by Sam Viverito. Performances run on Saturdays and Sundays from November 17-January 13 at 11 am and 1 pm, with special holiday performances on November 23, December 5, December 24-27, December 31, and January 1 at 11 am and 1 pm. Tickets begin at $29.50. Premium seats are available for $49.50.

"Angelina Ballerina, The Musical," featuring a feisty little mouse with big dreams of becoming a prima ballerina, will be part of Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series on Sunday, December 9, 1 and 4 p.m. Tickets are $18. Family Festivities is supported in part by a contribution from the First Niagara Bank Foundation. Family Festivities Partners are Meredith and David Bukzin.

Vital Theatre Company and HIT Entertainment have announced the return of the yuletide hit, Angelina Ballerina™ The Very Merry Holiday Musical, to the McGinn/Cazale Theatre at 2162 Broadway from November 17 - January 13.

Vital Theatre Company, winner of the 2012 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Family Show, has announced its 2012-2013 Family Programming season in its home theatre at 76th Street and Broadway. Featuring four musicals for children and families, this year's Vital season includes two world premieres and two returning favorites. In Fancy Nancy The Musical and Show Way, two popular children's books are newly adapted for the stage. Vital favorites Angelina Ballerina™ The Very Merry Holiday Musical and A (Tooth) Fairy Tale return to round out the season. Last week marked the official, one-year anniversary of BroadwayWorld Jr. I took a moment to look back on the first few shows I took my kids to see last year. My daughter, then six, was young enough to enjoy children's theatre designed for actual children and my son, then two, was too young to enjoy anything. Now I find my theatre-going family is moving on to the next stage. Later this week, my almost-eight-year-old and I will catch a preview of Lysistrata Jones, and my little guy is over the moon excited to see more shows with Mommy.
