Vertical Entertainment Acquires BEHAVING BADLY with Selena Gomez & Nat Wolff

Vertical Entertainment has acquired all U.S. rights to Tim Garrick's BEHAVING BADLY, starring Nat Wolff (“The Fault in our Stars”) and Selena Gomez along with Mary-Louise Parker, Elisabeth Shue, Dylan McDermott, Jason Lee, Heather Graham, Cary Elwes, Gary Busey, and Patrick Warburton. The deal was announced by the company's President, Rich Goldberg, who plans to release the film in theaters in August 2014.

On the heels of the Lifetime Original Movie Flowers in the Attic, this year's number one movie telecast on ad-supported cable, Lifetime will premiere the much-anticipated sequel Petals on the Wind (#PetalsOnTheWind) on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, at 9 pm PT/ET. Based on the second gothic novel of the iconic V.C. Andrews series about the Dollanganger family, the film begins ten years after the siblings have escaped the attic where their mother Corrine (Heather Graham, Drugstore Cowboy) and grandmother Olivia (Ellen Burstyn, Political Animals) kept them locked away for more than two years.

Today, SHOWTIME announced premiere dates for a number of its highly-anticipated new and returning programs this Spring. Beginning Sunday, April 13, the sweeping docu-series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY makes its debut in time for Earth Day at 10 p.m., immediately following the season six premiere of NURSE JACKIE, starring Edie Falco, at 9 p.m. and the seventh and final season of CALIFORNICATION, starring David Duchovny, at 9:30 p.m. SHOWTIME's new series PENNY DREADFUL, the psychological thriller starring Eva Green and Josh Hartnett, premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m.

The Museum of Arts and Design presents the first American retrospective of New Queer Cinema cult auteur Gregg Araki this fall from September 19 through October 26.God Help Me: Gregg Araki will survey the director's career thus far, with 9 films selected by Araki himself, including his rare early workThree Bewildered People in the Night (1987), the never-aired MTV pilot This is How the World Ends (2000) and the complete Teenage Apocalypse trilogy.
