Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in a new production by Ruth Stage, will play The Theater at St. Clements (423 W. 46th Street) beginning previews July 15, and opening night is set for July 24. The original scheduled run of this production, which had been announced for January, 2022, was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis.

The orchestra of Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) is staging a rally with live music in front of Carnegie Hall on Monday, June 6 from 6pm to 7pm.

The Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company will present the world premiere of Blue-Eyed Hag by Jim Lair Beard in June, 2022. The production will tour to several West Michigan venues. Blue- Eyed Hag is a prequel to Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Drury Lane Theatre announces the cast for its production of the empowering story of love and friendship, Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller. Due to demand, Steel Magnolias has been extended and now runs June 10 – August 7, 2022, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.
