Sydney Theatre Company's first main stage production for 2011, the Australian premiere of Sarah Ruhl's In The Next Room or the vibrator play will have an extra week of performances at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House. The show will now close there on Saturday 2 April 2011.

Luna Theater Company is set to take audiences into a quaint hotel room in a war-torn land as it closes its season with the Philadelphia Premiere of a dark modern classic.

Sydney Theatre Company's first main stage production for 2011 is the Australian premiere of Sarah Ruhl's acclaimed Broadway comedy In The Next Room or the vibrator play. Pamela Rabe directs Jacqueline McKenzie as Catherine Givings, an 1880's woman whose husband Dr Givings (David Roberts) marvels at the effectiveness of a newfangled electric invention he uses to administer remedial treatment to women suffering from ‘hysteria'. The STC production opens at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House, on 11 February, running to 27 March 2011, followed by tours to Melbourne, Wollongong, Canberra and Parramatta.

MBCT; Modern But Classical Theatre will present a spellbinding, bare bones production of Anton Chekhov's THREE SISTERS in March at the Flamboyan Theater in the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center in the Lower East Side, running from March 18th thru March 27th.

She is joined by Music Director Tedd Firth and special guest vocalist Tom Wopat. Both performances will be at 8:30 PM at the Regency Hotel 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street.
