Exciting news just in to BroadwayWorld!  Michael Weber, artistic director of Porchlight Music Theatre, has announced the casts of the Chicago premiere of the 2014 revision of Side Show, the return of Porchlight's hit Ain't Misbehavin', multi-Jeff Award-winner Summer Naomi Smart starring in the Chicago premiere of Far From Heaven, and Porchlight Music Theatre's 2015 - 2016 artistic leadership for its four Mainstage productions.

Stage, film and television star Jennifer Coolidge ends her acclaimed run in SAVING KITTY at the Nora Theatre Company in Cambridge, Mass., on Sunday, August 2. Coolidge stars as the devastatingly funny Kate Hartley, a smart but frustrated society matron who is bound and determined to save her daughter Kitty from the kind of stifling marriage she has had.

St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild (STCPAG) presents TITANIC, with story & book by Peter Stone and music & lyrics by Maury Yeston. Directed by Diana Roth-Fili with musical director Fabiola Leon-Catalano and set design by Jodi Monaco, the show runs July 24, 25, 26, 31, August 1 & 2, 2015. The Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, New Mexico announces one of its largest and most important traveling exhibitions, coming in the spring of 2016. The exhibition will be the first to showcase the impact of Mabel Dodge Luhan (1879-1962), and her circle of artist, writer, and activist friends, on shaping American Modernism. The exhibition is an exploration Mabel Dodge Luhan's life and influence, within the context of early 20th century American history and the Southwest, and an exploration of how the tiny multicultural community of Taos became an important center of the modernist art movement.

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy is proud to present The Wedding Singer, July 16-19, at the historic Bangor Opera House. Showcasing an acclaimed work by the photographer Alfred Stieglitz (1864-1946), Masterpieces & Curiosities: Alfred Stieglitz's The Steerage continues a series of exhibitions focused on individual works in the Jewish Museum's world-renowned collection. On view from September 25, 2015 to February 14, 2016, this exhibition focuses on Stieglitz's enduring 1907 photogravure of steerage-class passengers aboard the ocean liner Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Stageworks Theatre is revving its engines for what is sure to be a summer to remember in the Channel District with the works of Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Stephen Adly Guirgis, whose play, The Mother****er With the Hat, will run July 9-26 after, which recently had a successful run in London by a local theatre company.

'Casterbridge,' based on Thomas Hardy's classic Victorian novel, 'The Mayor of Casterbridge,' is a new musical theater work with book and lyrics by David Willinger and music by Christopher Beste. The 20-character, two-act musical is fairly faithful to Hardy's parable of the spiritual ups and downs of man and features a score inspired by English country music of the period. Theater for the New City will present the piece's world premiere run today, June 4 to 19, directed by Willinger.

From New York to New Mexico: Masterworks of American Modernism from the Vilcek Foundation Collection will open at Phoenix Art Museum on June 7, 2015. The exhibition includes 65 objects of American modernism spanning more than fifty years by notable artists like Stuart Davis, Arthur Dove, Marsden Hartley and Georgia O'Keeffe.

It was announced today that the new Broadway musical Doctor Zhivago, which opened at the Broadway Theatre on April 21st, 2015, will record its cast album on Thursday, May 28th

Under the artistic advisory of multi-disciplinary creators, Marie-Josee Chartier and Gerry Trentham; Amanda Acorn, Amanda Davis, Tina Fushell, Jasmyn Fyffe, Andrew Hartley and Emily Law will premiere new works for DANCE & DESIGN: Old & Young and Reckless Together #35, this weekend, May 14-16, 2015 at Dancemakers Centre for Creation.
