Bridget Everett's ROCK BOTTOM Closes Tonight at Joe's Pub

The Public Theater presents Bridget Everett's critically acclaimed ROCK BOTTOM at Joe's Pub. The show closes tonight, October 16, 2014. Created by Bridget Everett, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz, and Matt Ray, and directed by Scott Wittman, this shockingly funny and moving new show began performances on September 9 and was originally slated to close on October 11. ROCK BOTTOM was originally commissioned as part of the Joe's Pub 2013 New York Voices series.

Crystal Bowersox to Play Capitol Center for the Arts, 11/14

The 2010 American Idol runner-up, the first female finalist in three years, Crystal Bowersox has made it her mission to live life and her music to the fullest. With a gentle warmth and wisdom well beyond her years, the consummate artist has an uncompromising vision of herself and her music that is refreshing and rare. Singer, songwriter and actress Crystal Bowersox will be in concert at The Capitol Center for the Arts on Friday, November 14, at 8pm.

John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey to Return to Cafe Carlyle, 10/28-11/22

Cafe Carlyle will welcome back acclaimed husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey for a four-week engagement, October 28 - November 22. They'll make their annual fall pilgrimage to The Carlyle with an all-new show entitled Grown Up Songs. Grown Up Songs features sophisticated selections for the most sophisticated venue in New York City with music by Stephen Sondheim, Johnny Mercer, Paul McCartney, Alan Jay Lerner, Adam Guettel, Billy Joel and more.

Christopher Gattelli, Beth & Allan Williams to be Honored at 2014 NYMF Gala

In the first week of her 12th season, “Ellen” improved over her prior season debut week by +4%, earning a 2.8 HH rating (based on Fast National Preliminary data). This marks “Ellen's” best debut week in the twelve year history of the show.

Happy Birthday, Harry Connick, Jr. A star in music, theater, film and television, Connick recently won his second Emmy for musical direction of his live concert television special, 'Harry Connick Jr. in Concert on Broadway.' In 1990 he appeared in a sold-out concert series at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and in 2006, received a Tony nomination for his performance in the Broadway revival of The Pajama Game. He most recently starred on Broadway in the musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
