Broadway Performer Returns in July to Marblehead School of Ballet to Teach Master Classes

This summer, Broadway performer Julie Pappas Smith returns as a guest faculty member to the Marblehead School of Ballet (MSB).  During July, the North Shore native teaches master classes on Floor-Barre and Broadway Jazz at the school, located at 115 Pleasant Street in picturesque Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Broadway's "Phantom," Ciaran Sheehan, returns to Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston to take on the role of GAYLORD RAVENAL in Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's 1927 masterpiece Show Boat. Running from July 6-16 for 8 performances only, Show Boat will also star Boston's own Sarah Oakes Muirhead (Sunday in the Park with George) as MAGNOLIA HAWKS.

Last night at Alice Tully Hall, The Performing Arts Hall of Fame at Lincoln Center held its first-ever induction ceremony and gala. The inaugural class of honorees included legendary artists Plácido Domingo, Yo-Yo Ma, Audra McDonald, Leontyne Price, Harold Prince, and Louis Armstrong. The event also honored Lincoln Center's founding members, whose spirit of innovation made Lincoln Center possible. Hosted by CBS's Norah O'Donnell, the-one-night only exclusive celebration raised $1.1 million for the 10 arts organizations of Lincoln Center.

I DO! and more. Demas and Rice have based their show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Jones and Schmidt.
