The Joseph Jefferson Awards Committee will bestow the 2015 Equity Special Award on actors Paula Scrofano and John Reeger at the Jeff Awards ceremony on October 5, in recognition of their theatrical career contributions to the Chicago theatre scene over the past five decades.

The Boston Teen Acting Troupe eagerly announces i don't know where we're going but i promise we're lost, a brash new play about family, starting over, and growing up, by Boston Playwright MJ Halberstadt. Presented by The Boston Teen Acting Troupe as a staged reading in May of 2014 under the working title Annie Doesn't Live Here, the show has been retooled for its world premiere at Boston Playwrights' Theatre, a city-wide hub for new work, from July 30 - August 16, 2015. i don't know where we're going but i promise we're lost will also feature live original music by Tom Freeman and Covey, a Boston Based indie folk band.

Happy Medium Theatre starts its sixth season by ending the run of the Factory Theatre with LANGUAGE OF ANGELS, a testament to the ambience and creative possibilities of the soon-to-be-defunct space. Director Lizette M. Morris does a masterful job of building and prolonging the suspense, with a strong assist from her design team and ensemble cast.
