The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Popjam Productions present the North American premiere of MOTHER, WIFE AND THE COMPLICATED LIFE - a musical comedy that tells the truth about marriage and motherhood - with book and lyrics by Australian singer, songwriter and reality TV star Amity Dry, music by Amity Dry and Mark Simeon Ferguson and directed by Hilary Adams. MOTHER, WIFE AND THE COMPLICATED LIFE is an official selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival and plays The Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan through July 27! The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents Cicily Daniels (Disney's The Little Mermaid, All Shook Up) and Mollie Vogt-Welch (A Tale Of Who Cities) in Mother, Wife and The Complicated Life beginning July 19 at The Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) began earlier this week on July 8th and will continue through July 28th. An additional slate of special events, free events, staged readings and several educational panel discussions will be announced shortly. Below, check out a roundup of photos of this year's casts!

The cast of MOTHER, WIFE AND THE COMPLICATED LIFE will feature Happy McPartlin (who recently made her Broadway debute in 'Hands on a Hardbody'), Cicily Daniels (Broadway credits include: 'The Little Mermaid,' 'Rent'), Mollie Vogt-Welch (last seen on Broadway in 'A Tale of Two Cities') and Vanessa Lemonides ('Jewtopia,' 'Garbo and Me').

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

The new American musical Hands on a Hardbody just celebrated opening night last night, March 21, at Broadway's Brooks AtkinsonTheatre (256 West 47th Street). The cast and creative team gathered at the Roseland Ballroom with their real-life counterparts from the documentary on which the musical is based. The Tokens are the doo-wop-style vocal group from Brooklyn, New York that is known best for it's chart-soaring #1 single, 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' The Tokens members Mitch Margo, Phil Margo and Noah Margo have penned a new musical comedy titled, "Oh, My Goddess." The New York City reading will be presented Friday, October 26th.

Overall, Stages Repertory Theatre does a great job with their production of Next to Normal. This is a must see production of a must see show.

Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS will continue to blow the roof off of theatres across the country into the 2012 -2013 season. The season will kick off on September 11th in Portland, OR at the Keller Auditorium, and a return engagement is scheduled in the city where it all began - Memphis, TN at the Orpheum Theatre. On Wednesday, March 14th MEMPHIS celebrated its' 1,000th performance on Broadway where it continues to bring audiences to their feet on a daily basis.
