As a special 80th anniversary event for Westport Country Playhouse, noted actors Kathleen McNenny, Frances Sternhagen and Richard Thomas will star in a Script in Hand reading of A. R. Gurney's delightfully witty game of cat and mouse, "The Golden Age," on Monday, June 20, 7 p.m. Director is John Tillinger.

The producers of the Tony Award® winning LA CAGE AUX FOLLES have announced that Palm Beach's favorite son George Hamilton will star in the new production that will run next year at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The show was one of the Great White Way's biggest hit in 2010 and is coming here as part of the 2011-2012 Kravis On Broadway series.

Due to the tragic circumstances of the people in Glade Springs because of the tornados, Barter Theatre has designated two performances of Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes as benefit performances for the Town of Glade Spring and its residents. All proceeds from tickets sold beginning immediately for the May 17 7:45 p.m. and May 21 8:15 p.m. shows will be donated to the relief fund. The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. Starring Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott, the team behind Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, Baby It's You! began performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) Saturday, March 26, 2011, and opens TONIGHT, April 27, 2011, at 6:30pm. Now, acclaimed performer/musician and Middle Tennessee native Jason Petty, along with his four piece band, is bringing the authentic and insightful story of Hank to life in Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes for a special presentation at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, April 21-May 21.
