The Geffen Playhouse today announced the addition of Glen Berger's critically acclaimed play Underneath the Lintel, completing its 2017/2018 season lineup.

City Theatre dives into a fresh season of new plays with an off-Broadway hit comedy by playwright Halley Feiffer, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Directed by City Theatre newcomer Joshua Kahan Brody, the production runs on the Main Stage September 23 - October 15, 2017. Atlantic Theater Company will present Asian American Mixfest, a series of free readings co-produced by playwrights Lloyd Suh and Qui Nguyen that will run Today, August 9 through Thursday, August 17 at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).

The Arctic Group has commissioned playwright Daniel Talbott (Slipping and Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait) to write a new short play that will be performed on a double bill with Steve McMahon's Sad Indie Love Song in Series B of their inaugural FRIDGE Festival. The festival runs August 31 - September 10, and Series B will play Thu 8/31 at 9pm, Sun 9/3 at 7pm, Wed 9/6 9pm, and Sat 9/9 at 7pm.

In keeping with their mission of raising visibility for women's issues, The Neo-Political Cowgirls (NPC) dance theatre collective will present ANDROMEDA'S SISTERS: Illuminating Women's Voices on Sunday, July 30th at East Hampton's Guild Hall.

Simon Godwin's (Associate Director, London's National Theatre) acclaimed staging of Measure for Measure, William Shakespeare's dark comedy about justice, faith, power, sex and family, will close as scheduled next week, on July 16. Just 15 New York performances remain of the production.
