In celebration of the most powerful bond that any man and woman can share (we're looking at you heteros) world famous improv club, iO, is thrilled to announce '1, 2, Fag + Hag!' If you have doubts that this is the most powerful bond throughout history just look at Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper, Madonna and Rupert Everett, and Betsy Ross and the Founding Fathers or come to '1, 2, Fag + Hag'. Seth Dodson and Kellen Alexander of iO's long-running headlining act '1, 2, 3, Fag!' will be bringing in Chicago's top female improvisers to perform their signature improv style of intertwining scenes with bold, outrageous characters. They will also talk about shoes, dish on boys, and try to come up with a clever nickname for a male maid-of-honor. Male-of-honor? Flower Grrrrrl?

Shakespeare's Globe will take to the road again this summer for its fourth year of regional touring. This year, the Globe will revive its 2009 productions of The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night's Dream between April and September, which will exchange venues to reach new audiences.

On May 14 and 15 the Heller Theatre will present Bertolt Brecht's The Good Woman of Setzuan. But three other individuals are perhaps most responsible for the overall delight that is Tennessee Rep's 25th Anniversary season production: director Rene Dunshee Copeland, whose imaginative work helps to re-invent this musical on a basis that is at once more intimate while, somehow, is on a grander scale; music director Paul Carrol Binkley, whose concept for performing the work's music gives it the ideal down-home feel that only a band of expert Nashville players can give it; and design genius Gary Hoff, who transforms Johnson's black box space into something we've never seen in that venue before - the proscenium theatre you've only seen in your mind's eye - and who, in so doing, elevates Nashville theatrical design beyond its previous limits, fashioning it into something of opulently epic proportions.

Tulsa's Heller Theatre will end its run of Sarah Ruhl's play THE CLEAN HOUSE on March March 21. The production is be directed by Julie Tattershall.

Sarahbeth Grossman and Craig Zehms today announced that they would present the Off-Broadway premiere of Martin Casella's acclaimed comedy THE IRISH CURSE at the Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street (between Avenue of the Americas & Varick Street) beginning an open-ended run on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th.

Tulsa's Heller Theatre will present Sarah Ruhl's play THE CLEAN HOUSE on March 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 8 PM and on March 21 at 2 PM. The production will be directed by Julie Tattershall.

The Staten Island Historical Society has announced the launch of its Online Collections Database featuring over 100 selections from the extensive clothing collection at Historic Richmond Town. The Online Collections Database enables virtual visitors to study selected highlights in addition to the objects on view in museum galleries and historic house settings. This new resource can be visited by using the New! Online Collections Database link found on the home page of Historic Richmond Town's website.
