The Constitution is the only document you get more knowledge of it, the drunker you get.  Why?  It was written during a four month drunken binge. The bills from those days show thousands of dollars in wine, port, beer.  They were all drinking.

Producers Barry & Fran Weissler and Howard & Janet Kagan have just announced that the critically acclaimed and Tony-nominated Broadway musical PIPPIN will launch a US national tour in September 2014, at the Buell Theatre in Denver, CO. Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's beloved coming-of-age musical comedy PIPPIN is directed by Diane Paulus featuring choreography by Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). The production is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Ghostlight Records will release the New Broadway Cast Recording for Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's beloved coming-of-age musical comedy Pippin, which is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), on June 4 (digitally) and July 9 (in stores). The album will be co-produced by composer Stephen Schwartz and Kurt Deutsch, and executive produced by Howard & Janet Kagan.

The acclaimed Broadway production of PIPPIN and Ghostlight Records invites fans to sing on the brand new Broadway cast recording. On Tuesday, May 7 at 12:30 PM, PIPPIN fans will gather to sing along with Andrea Martin for one of the show's highlights, 'No Time At All.' Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's beloved coming-of-age musical comedy Pippin opened last night, April 25, 2013, at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). This all-new production is directed by Diane Paulus featuring choreography by Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there to chat with the 'Extraordinary' cast on their big opening night, plus Andrea Martin gets a special surprise from Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed the joyous news that PIPPIN star Patina Miller was engaged last night at an opening night celebration for the new Broadway revival. According to the show's representative, the actresses' boyfriend, David Mars popped the question at New York City's Slate restaurant.
