Savion Glover: Solo in Time plays February 23 & 24 at 7:00pm

In the years since Savion Glover first exploded onto the stage in Bring In da Noise, Bring In da Funk, he has engaged in a relentlessly curious search for new ways to showcase tap dance while stripping it down to its essence. In his latest creation, SoLo iN TiMe, Glover and company weave together tap song compositions and flamenco tradition in a breathtakingly electric montage of speed, rhythm, and song. The performance takes place on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 4pm at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West in the Bronx.

Savion Glover will tap his way onto the Van Wezel stage Tuesday, February 22 at 8 p.m.Savion Glover became a dance legend with his Broadway smash hit Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk, which won a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award and two Obies, but kids may recognize the fancy footwork he laid down for Mumbles, the twinkle-toed penguin in the 2006 animated film Happy Feet. Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents the TRU Writer-Director Communications Lab on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 1pm to 7pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, Studio 3C.
