Sierra Boggess, Robert Petkoff & More Set for SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL Reading on 6/12-13

Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present a private stage reading of the new musical SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL on June 12 and June 13, 2014 in New York. Based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name, SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL had a critically acclaimed world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction, and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime).

MONET and GOODBYE BARCELONA Play York Theatre's Readings Series This Week

The York Theatre Company and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the premiere of two new musicals: Monet, with Book by Joan Ross Sorkin and Music & Lyrics by Carmel Owen, and Goodbye Barcelona, written by Judith Johnson and K.S. Lewkowicz at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

The new southern rock-parody musical Lanyard Skynerd - The Musical, written by Ed Furman and T.J. Shanoff, creators of The Second City's box office hit Rod Blagojevich Superstar!, and directed by Jeff Award winner Mick Napier, will be presented for a limited engagement at Martyrs (3855 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago), for five performances only, Monday evenings, beginning today, September 30, and continuing through October 28, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.
