Tyrone Phillips and John Cicora to Helm 33 TO NOTHING at A Red Orchid Theatre

A Red Orchid Theatre announces its spring production of Grant James Varjas' 33 to Nothing will be directed by Tyrone Phillips, with music direction by John Cicora. The production features Ensemble Member Steve Haggard. 33 to Nothing runs April 12 May 27, 2018 at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells.

A Red Orchid Extends Ike Holter's SENDER

?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre adds six performances to the run of the world premiere of Sender by Ike Holter, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. Featuring Ensemble Member Steve Haggard, the cast of Sender also includes McKenzie Chinn, Mary Williamson and Steven Wilson. The extension includes Saturday matinees as well as additional weeknight performances. Sender will now run through June 4, 2016. A Red Orchid Theatre is located at 1531 N Wells. Tickets to extension performances go on sale Thursday, May 12, 2016.  

A Red Orchid Sets SENDER World Premiere Cast

?A Red Orchid Theatre concludes its 2015-2016 season with the world premiere of Sender by Ike Holter, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. Featuring Ensemble Member Steve Haggard, the cast of Sender also includes McKenzie Chinn, Mary Williamson and Steven Wilson. Sender will run April 14 - May 29, 2016. The press opening for Sender is April 18, 2016 at 7 p.m. A Red Orchid Theatre is located at 1531 N Wells.

Due to overwhelming demand, A Red Orchid Theatre announces the extension of Accidentally, Like a Martyr, written by Grant James Varjas and directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray and featuring Ensemble Members Steve Haggard, and Doug Vickers with David Cerda, Layne Manzer, Luce Metrius, Troy West and Dominique Worsley The production now runs January 15 - March 15, 2015, at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells.

Paradise Factory to Re-Open After 2-Year Renovation with SHAPE OF SOMETHING SQUASHED, Begin. 2/17

The celebrated, award-winning downtown film/theater cooperative The Paradise Factory will re-open following a 2-year, $4 million renovation with the world premiere of Tom Noonan's comedy the SHAPE of SOMETHING SQUASHED. Preview performances are February 17 and 18 prior to the official press opening February 26, 2014 at the new Paradise Factory venue, 64E4 (64 East 4th St.) in Manhattan. One of the highlights of the renovation is the addition of a new performance space, giving The Paradise Factory two performance spaces for the first time in its 30-year history.

The production is directed by the playwright.
