Concerts at Kent Town Kick Off with Organist Dr. Greg Crawford Today

Regular concert goers at the popular community Concerts at Kent Town held at the majestic Neo-Gothic Wesley Church Kent Town, on the corner Fullarton Road and Grenfell Street, Kent Town, will be delighted that their afternoon concerts have returned. These well-attended, monthly concerts will be held this year from July to November and feature accomplished and acclaimed South Australian and visiting musicians.

Antonio Meucci Young Inventors' Competition Final Judging Set for Today

The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum has announced the selection of 15 finalists for its annual Antonio Meucci Young Inventors' Competition. This year the event, co-sponsored by Time Warner Cable, expanded registration to include students in grades 4 through 8 from schools throughout New York City and New Jersey.

Playwrights Realm Presents Four New Plays at INK'D, Beg. Today

The Playwrights Realm , under the leadership of Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing Director Renee Blinkwolt, will present INK'D, a four-play series that showcases the 2012-13 class of Writing Fellows and their hot-off-the-presses plays from today, May 13, through Thursday, May 16, at The Studio Theatre in The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street.

This July, 40 of the nation's most prominent and promising writers, directors, and composers will be in residence at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in a new laboratory for collaboration. Today, the renowned nonprofit announced 13 selections for the inaugural summer lab at The Ground Floor, Berkeley Rep's Center for the Creation and Development of New Work. During an intense four-week period, dozens of artists will live, dine, create, and collaborate at the Theatre's new campus in West Berkeley.

Deadline Extended to Register for Antonio Meucci Young Inventors’ Comp

The deadline to enter the Antonio Meucci Young Inventors' Competition has been extended to June 1. Students in grades 4 through 8 who live and go to school on Staten Island are invited to present an original idea for a new invention/product or an improvement on an existing one-anything from a helpful kitchen gadget to a machine that does your homework for you.
