The Booth Playhouse is seeking actors for By Grace The Musical. Auditions are October 24 and 25 from 4-9PM at Eye Opening Entertainment. Actors should bring a prepared two minute monologue, a headshot, bio or resume and two contrasting pieces with sheet music in the correct key. On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA will host the Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and present Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance, and film, as well as two Princess Grace Statue Awards to Brian Kulick and Gillian Murphy, artists who have previously won Awards and have shown achievement and growth in their respective fields. Every year, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) proudly awards these grants at its annual Awards Gala to support its mission of providing crucial support to emerging artists in America.

Hedgerow Theatre continues its fall tradition of staging a mystery play with Dial M For Murder, Sept. 24-Nov. 1. Although Hedgerow has staged a mystery play each fall for many years, this is the first time Dial M For Murder has been performed at the 86-year old Rose Valley theatre.

On August 11th The Princess Grace Foundation-USA announced their 2009 award winners in theatre, dance & film. Set designer Ann Bartek, who has worked extensively with Milk Can (Galileo, Running, The 5 Borough Plays, The Science Plays, P.O.V., and By Oscar Micheaux), in conjunction with The Milk Can Theatre Company, has been awarded the Theater Fellowship, Pierre Cardin Theater Award.

The Board of Trustees of the Princess Grace Foundation- USA and its Chairman, Hon. John F. Lehman, announced today winners of the 2009 Princess Grace Awards. The Awards for theater, dance and choreography, and film continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who anonymously helped emerging artists pursue their goals during Her lifetime.
The Lyric Theatre Screens REAR WINDOW And VERTIGO Free To Public 7/11, 7/12

Two of Alfred Hitchcock's best loved suspense films, Rear Window and Vertigo will be shown at the Lyric Theatre free of charge to the public courtesy of The Lyric Theatre and the City of Stuart Community Redevelopment Agency. Rear Window will be shown at 7pm on Saturday, July 11th and 3pm on Sunday, July 12th. Vertigo will be shown at 3pm on Saturday, July 11th and 7pm on Sunday, July 12th. Tickets are available only by visiting the Lyric Theatre Box Office. The free tickets are limited to 4 per person and are subject to availability.
