On Thursday, April 26, more than 250 friends of God's Love We Deliver gathered at the Ninth Annual Authors in Kind. This literary luncheon was held at The Pierre Hotel and marked the end of the 25th anniversary of God's Love We Deliver which was launched at last year's luncheon. Board Member, author extraordinaire and Authors In Kind founder, Linda Fairstein, emceed as our guest authors took the podium to share anecdotes and remarks about their work to the delight of our many guests. The authors signed books before and after the event, meeting and greeting guests and fans.
Comedic legend Joan Rivers is an internationally renowned comedienne, Emmy-winning television talk show host, Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author, playwright, screenwriter, and the list goes on. She'll bring her own brand of humor jokes to Hershey Theatre on Sunday, April 22 at 8 p.m.

The first 100 people to rent skates during the hour-long event received a flowing nun's habit to wear as they glided across the ice. All guests wearing the habit not only kept their ears warm, but were entered to win tickets to SISTER ACT on Broadway.
