Production images for ALADDIN have been released today ahead of its official opening night at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday 15 June. Disney's new West End musical began preview performances on Friday 27 May and tickets for the spectacular production are now on sale for performances up to and including 11 February 2017. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY Makes Dallas Premiere This Month

The national tour of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will make its Dallas premiere June 14-26 at the Music Hall at Fair Park presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.

Producer Kevin McCollum is pleased to announce Something Rotten!, the ten-time Tony-Award nominated smash hit musical comedy, directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award® winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award® nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, will launch a national tour at the Boston Opera House January 17-29, 2017, following a preview period at Proctors in Schenectady, NY. The New York production recently celebrated its one-year anniversary on Broadway and continues performances at the St. James Theatre.

Disney's ALADDIN Now Booking in the West End Into 2017!

With 315 hours of rehearsals now complete; 68 tonnes of scenery hung at the Prince Edward Theatre; and 337 custom-designed, hand-made costumes created from over 1,225 varieties of fabric, adorned with millions of Swarovski crystals, Disney's new musical Aladdin will begin previews in the West End tonight.

Today in 2001, The Producers opened at the St. James Theatre, where it ran for 2502 performances. The Producers is a musical adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks' 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks and arranged by Glen Kelly and Doug Besterman. As in the film, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Starring Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, it won a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards. It spawned a successful London production running for three years, national tours, many productions worldwide and a 2005 film version.

?Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath (Beautiful) for the 1994 film, will go on sale on Friday, February 19.  The staged production of this worldwide smash-hit film will play the newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe) April 19 through May 1, 2016.
