THE NEW NORMAL's Ellen Barkin appeared on NBC's 'Late Show With Jimmy Fallon' last night to chat about her new comedy premiering September 11th. NBC will add a series preview of its new comedy THE NEW NORMAL on Monday, September 10 (10-10:30 p.m. ET) following the season premiere of 'The Voice' (8-10 p.m. ET). 'The New Normal' will premiere in its regular day and time on the following night - Tuesday, September 11 (9:30-10 p.m. ET) - with a new episode.

EW reports that a Mormon-owned Utah TV station is refusing to air the new NBC comedy series THE NEW NORMAL. The station, which also gave a thumbs down to last year's controversial series 'The Playboy Club,' told the Salt Lake Tribune that they were not comfortable with the show's content. The comedy, from Glee creator Ryan Murphy, tells the story of a gay couple who relies on a surrogate to have a baby.

Today we are talking to one of the biggest new stars on Broadway who first burst onto the scene in HAIRSPRAY but has since carved out a place in the great pantheon of theatre history in creating the iconic lead role of Elder Price in the Broadway hit of the decade, THE BOOK OF MORMON, Andrew Rannells.
