Although ALLEGIANCE will end its run early on February 14th, the creators, including GEORGE TAKEI, hope that the musical will have a life following its Broadway run.

The Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA.org • Facebook • Twitter), comprised of over 130 professional critics and entertainment journalists nationwide, today released its choices for the best in movies and television of 2015.

As the curtain falls on the 2015-16 pantomime season, Evolution Productions announce record-breaking figures, demonstrating beyond doubt that the pantomime renaissance has come of age.  With The Marlowe Theatre leading the way with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs playing at 99.06% capacity with the number of tickets sold a stunning 95,685 (nearly double the city's population), box office figures over their seven shows across the country came in at 91% attendance, an increase across the board of 10.3% in financial terms on the previous year.

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra under the direction of Pops Conductor John Morris Russell presents two concerts this weekend, January 9-10, at Cincinnati Music Hall, dubbed I'M EVERY WOMAN, starring three powerhouse vocalists.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Allegiance will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Performances began at the Longacre Theatre on October 6, 2015 and the production officially opened on November 8, 2015. At the time of its closing it will have played 37 previews and 113 regular performances. In light of the announcement, we're taking a trip down memory lane to the show's road to Broadway!

Performances began at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street) on October 6, 2015 and the production officially opened on November 8, 2015. At the time of its closing it will have played 37 previews and 113 regular performances. Producers also announced a national tour and international productions are in the works. Allegiance had its world premiere in a record-breaking engagement at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in 2012.
