Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with the music of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's annual Highmark Holiday Pops December 9 through 11 and December 17 and 18 at Heinz Hall.

The Fred Ebb Foundation has announced that its 2016 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.675 million dollars, bringing the foundation's total contribution to BC/EFA to $13.325 million since it began 12 years ago. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA.

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the twelfth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore, tonight from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley.

 The Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert at the Blaisdell Concert Hall on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:30 pm. This performance is not only intended to remember those who served and died in the attack, but to salute the remaining survivors and all who have served in the armed forces. Maestro Rob Fisher, Tony and Grammy-recognized for his work with the New York Philharmonic and the New York Shakespeare Festival will lead the HSO in a patriotic program that includes Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" and John Williams' "Hymn to the Fallen" from the film Saving Private Ryan. 

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of a new holiday musical, Silver Belles. Directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Million Dollar Quartet), this world premiere musical features a book by Allyson Currin (WSC Avant Bard's Caesar and Dada), music by Matt Conner (Signature's Nevermore) and lyrics by Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith (Creative Cauldron's The Turn of the Screw).

Signature Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for Titanic, directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). Signature Theatre reaffirms its mission to stage inventive new productions of classic musicals by tackling Maury Yeston's (Nine) and Peter Stone's (1776) Tony Award-winning musical about the heart-stopping and riveting ride through the final moments of Titanic's fateful journey.
