MASTERWORKS BROADWAY recently released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of An American in Paris, produced by Rob Fisher and Scott Lehrer. The score of An American in Paris includes the songs 'I Got Rhythm,' 'Liza,' 'S Wonderful,' 'But Not For Me,' 'I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise,' and orchestral music including 'Concerto in F,' 'Second Prelude,' 'Second Rhapsody/Cuban Overture' and 'An American In Paris.' Below, we bring you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes video of the company in the recording studio!

Remember history class in high school? The teacher presented a lecture and told us how exciting a certain historical period had been, going on to incessantly bore us because we had no recourse other than to take indecipherable notes we couldn't understand later, finally coming to the conclusion that history was, and always would be, a painstaking bore, better consigned to the college professors we were bound to meet sooner or later on our educational journey to adulthood and, hopefully, a job. That's very much what I thought about the American Ballet Theater's new production of Alexei Ratmansky's 'Sleeping Beauty.' I hate to sound churlish, but so much ink, not to mention so many dollars, have been lavished on this production, that, beyond some more extra performances and, probably, a showing on Great Performances, it will disappear within two years. At least it will be in the archives for future generations to watch.

The man behind the dance in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS!

The waiting is over, Holt Festival, North Norfolk's award winning international festival of music, drama, visual art, literary giants, talks, dance and comedy, has announced its full programme for 2015, its seventh year.

Tony Bennett was forced to cancel last night's concert with Lady Gaga at Royal Albert Hall in London due to the flu.

The most famous songs of the Golden Age of Hollywood are recreated live on stage with our award winning singers and dancers. Special guests are world champion dance professionals Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, who will wow the audience with their glamorous costumes and ballroom skills.

Bayou City Concert Musicals is back with a 2015-16 season full of fun and great music, starting with the delightful musical comedy Bells Are Ringing, a hilarious slice of the mid-Twentieth Century world lost to voice mail and texting, and rounded out by two cabaret evenings of the music of two giants of the Great American Songbook, Hoagy Carmichael and George Gershwin.

After completing a 15th anniversary season which featured a critically heralded performance of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, David Bernard, Music Director of the award-winning Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, has announced the ensemble's 2015-16 season of concerts.  Highlights include a roster of superb soloists (pianist Jeffrey Biegel, jazz pianist  Ted Rosenthal, and cellist Inbal Segev,) insightful programs spanning music from Beethoven through Bartók, and a new concert format where the audience sits among the players of the orchestra for a performance of Beethoven's  Fifth Symphony.

The Kimmel Center is proud to be one of the co-producers of An American in Paris, which won four honors at Sunday's 69th Annual Tony Awards. The popular Broadway stage adaptation was co-produced by the Kimmel Center as part of Elephant Eye Theatrical and the production consortium Five Cent Productions.

Four Tonys for AN AMERICAN IN PARIS!

THE 69TH ANNUAL TONY? AWARDS, aired live from Radio City Music Hall, last night Sunday, June 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. On June 12 at 8PM, the New Philharmonia Orchestra will conclude its 20th Anniversary Season with a gala performance featuring the world-renowned jazz guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli in a program showcasing his signature style that sets the standard for stylish modern jazz.
