And while the thrill and excitement of the games ensue, The Workers Cup by Adam Sobel is set to premiere on the PBS documentary series POV on Monday, July 9 at 10 p.m. (check local listings), the day before the first game of the semifinals.
POV recently acquired the U.S. broadcast rights for306 Hollywood by Elan and Jonathan Bogarín. The film will join POV's early 2019 schedule with AmDoc/POV Co-production Minding the Gap by Bing Liu, which announced last week a Hulu Originals acquisition for an August 2018 theatrical and streaming release. These 2019 films build on POV's recent announcements regarding the acquisition of On Her Shoulders and The Silence of Others.
