Lissa Moira directs this one-woman show about Marilyn Monroe starring Louisa Bradshaw*. Gregory Nissen serves as Musical Director & Arranger & Don Garverick choreographs. Set Design is by David 'Zen' Mansley, Assistant to Mr. Mansley is Lytza Colon & Lighting Design is by William Giraldo.

In addition to celebrating NFT's vital contribution to the arts internationally, the Gala will feature special awards for 13 individuals that changed the cultural life of our nation: Sidney Poitier, Ntozake Shange, Ruby Dee, Alicia Keys, Mayor David Dinkins, Imhotep Gary Byrd, George Faison, Amiri Baraka, Rev. Malcolm Boyd, Elizabeth McCann, Carla Pinza, Terrie Williams and Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin (for the National Black Theatre Festival).

The Ailey Extension welcomes dance and theater enthusiasts to participate in a Contemporary dance workshop series with The Lion King cast member, Ray Mercer, on April 11th, 18th and 25th at the Joan Weill Center for Dance, located at 405 West 55th Street (at 9th Avenue).
