Eclipse Theatre Company's Seventh Annual Corona Award Ceremony Set for 12/15

Eclipse Theatre Company will present its Seventh Annual Corona Award to Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. Artistic Director Richard Cotovsky on December 15, 2015. The Corona Award honors an individual who has played an important role in supporting and nurturing the growth of the Chicago theatre community as well as small- to medium-sized Chicago theatre such as Eclipse.

Same Day Theatre Presents THE END OF CIVILIZATION, Now thru 5/31

Same Day Theatre is proud to present the Ottawa premiere of George F. Walker's The End of Civilization. This black comedy-mystery runs from May 13 - 31st, 2015 at the Gladstone Theatre.  The play is directed by Mary Ellis. Previews are tonight and tomorrow, May 13 & 14. Opening night for reviewers is Friday, May 15th.

Canadian Rep's 2015 Season to Feature NOTHING SACRED, ARMSTRONG'S WAR & More

Following the success of the inaugural 2014 season (Wajdi Mouawad's Pacamambo; Judith Thompson's Watching Glory Die; George F. Walker's Dead Metaphor), Artistic Director Ken Gass today announced three productions that will comprise the Canadian Rep Theatre 2015 Season. The playbill includes recent works by two of Canada's most extraordinary women playwrights - Florence Gibson MacDonald (How Do I Love Thee?) and Colleen Murphy (Armstrong's War) in the winter/spring - and a major revival of a George F. Walker classic (Nothing Sacred) in the fall.

GCTC Raises Over $18,700 for the Actors' Fund of Canada

The Burden of Self Awareness has proved to be a blessing for the Actors' Fund of Canada. Great Canadian Theatre Company's world premiere of the darkly-humorous George F. Walker play has raised an amazing $18,730 in support of the Actors' Fund of Canada which provides emergency funding for Canadian entertainment professionals in times of crisis.
