The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Seeks Volunteers For Their 2010 Season

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is seeking volunteers to assist with ushering, concessions, and the Theatre's gift shop during the 2010 Season which begins in June. The Shakespeare Theatre will hold a Volunteer Open House on Monday, May 10 at 6 p.m. at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue, in Madison.

Following months of reading scripts, discussion, and meticulous season planning, Two River Theater Company is proud to announce the 2010-11 Season. Outgoing Artistic Director Aaron Posner had this to say about the season: "Two River Theater is committed to bringing theater of the highest caliber to the Red Bank and Monmouth County communities. The staff and I have worked tirelessly to create a season of the quality our audiences have come to expect from us, with world-class actors, directors, and designers. Many artists will be familiar to Two River audiences: Matt Pfeiffer-the director of Charlie Brown-is back to direct this year's family show, along with Aaron Cromie, who designed the puppets for Our Town."

Tennessee Rep Announces Schedule for Ingram New Works Festival 4/28-5/8

Tennessee Repertory Theatre has announced its schedule for the Martha R. Ingram New Works Festival. The festival will be held April 28 - May 8 at Nashville Children's Theatre and will feature staged readings of new plays from seven local playwrights as well as Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winner David Auburn.

Palm Beach Dramaworks Announces Eleventh Anniversary Season

West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks will kick off its 11th Anniversary season with George Bernard Shaw's play 'Candida' on Wednesday, October 6th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). The season will continue with a distinguished roster of plays including the southeast premiere of 'Freud's Last Session' by Mark St. Germain, 'Dinner With Friends' by Donald Margulies and 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane' by Martin McDonagh.

A.C.T.'s RIOT Plays Zeum Theater, 4/1-4/17

The A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Program and Young Conservatory present the world premiere production of Riot, celebrated Irish playwright Ursula Rani Sarma's hard-hitting play, in the newest commission from A.C.T.'s international partnership with Britain's Theatre Royal Bath. Directed by Young Conservatory Director Craig Slaight and featuring young actors from the A.C.T. M.F.A. Program and Young Conservatory, Riot follows the story of a young man who lands in a residency clinic for emotionally disturbed teens following an unexpected act of violence. Riot weaves Max's relationships with his fellow patients, his doctor, and his nurses into a moving portrait of the deep human need for connection. The show plays April 1-17, 2010, at Zeum Theater, located at Yerba Buena Gardens (Fourth and Howard streets). Tickets are $15.50-$20.50 and are available by calling A.C.T. Abingdon Theatre Presents Warren Kelley in ENGAGING SHAW, 4/9-5/2

Abingdon Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of John Morogiello's ENGAGING SHAW -- a new Off-Broadway play following the real-life courtship and battle of wits between socialite Charlotte Payne-Townshend and playwright George Bernard Shaw -- with Off-Broadway previews to begin April 9, prior to its official press opening April 18 at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Adds NO MANS LAND To Season

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announced today that it will present Harold Pinter's No Man's Land as part of its 2010 Season. No Man's Land replaces the previously announced production of Pinter's The Caretaker. 'In January we announced our 2010 Season which included Harold Pinter's The Caretaker.

Irish Rep Extends CANDIDA Through 4/25

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre announces a one-week extension of its hit revival of George Bernard Shaw's CANDIDA, with performances now scheduled to run through Sunday, April 25 at the Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in Manhattan.

DIE! MOMMY! DIE! Ends Run at Silver Spring Stage, 3/28
