The Doctor's Dilemma plays MAIN STREET THEATER - RICE VILLAGE

One of films most famous and beloved musicals, My Fair Lady, will be presented on the big screen as part of Victoria Theatre Association's 2010 Michelob Ultra Cool Films Series at the historic Victoria Theatre in Dayton for three performances, July 30 -August 1.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its summer season with George Bernard Shaw's comedy Arms and the Man. Arms and the Man begins performances on July 7 and continues through August 1.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its popular annual summer tradition of family theatre under the stars with a new translation/adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's comedy The Servant of Two Masters. Performances begin on June 23 and continue through August 1. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:15pm at the outdoor amphitheatre on the campus of the College of St. Elizabeth, 2 Convent Road in Morris Township.

The Public Theater has announced additional casting for the 2010 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring THE WINTER'S TALE, directed by Michael Greif, and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by Daniel Sullivan, in repertory June 9-August 1.

Tickets for the upcoming Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession go on sale to the general public on July 30. The production, to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company, will star Tony® Award winner Cherry Jones as Kitty Warren and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as Vivie Warren and will be directed by Tony® Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as Frank Gardner, Mark Harelik as Sir George Crofts, Edward Hibbert as Mr. Praed and Michael Siberry as Reverend Samuel Gardner.

At South Coast Repertory's Annual Meeting on July 28, Board President Wylie A. Aitken announced that the theatre had ended its 46th consecutive season in the black and introduced the slate of officers for 2010-11, headed by incoming President Thomas D. Phelps. The unanimously elected executive committee, along with nine new Board members, will lead the theatre during its 47th Season.

Main Street Theater will open its 2010-2011 MainStage season with George Bernard Shaw's riff on death panels, The Doctor's Dilemma, September 9 - October 3, 2010. The show is directed by Mark Adams and previews September 4, 5 and 8.
