LINES by Terence Patrick Hughes (Finding the Rooster at 13th Street Rep) is a gripping new play about race and humanity set in a fictional yet familiar country where a line has been laid down, separating blacks and whites. The production will be directed by Horse Trade Theater Group Artistic Director Heidi Grumelot (Donnie and the Monsters; PunkRockLoveSong) and presented by Horse Trade Theatre in association with Ice & Fire Theatre of London.
Stage and television series regular Judith Chapman portrays the fragile and mercurial movie star Vivien Leigh in the Los Angeles premiere of Rick Foster's critically acclaimed one-woman play, Vivien. Produced by The Troubadours of Daytime, Vivien will open as a limited engagement at the award-winning Rogue Machine Theatre.
The Paramount Theatre's new Artistic Director Jim Corti, who also will stage the inaugural production in the Aurora theater's first-ever Broadway musical subscription series, has announced the principal cast and design team for his fall opener, My Fair Lady.
This season's theme of 'family' is kicked off with the Bard's triumphant family history, Henry V, adapted and directed by Ronald Mangravite, running August 26 - September 11, 2011. Henry V, the final play about the reigning family crown, chronicles King Henry V's war with France over land and titles. Rey Pamatmat and directed by THE NEW's Artistic Director, Ricky J. Martinez, running October 14 - 30, 2011.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's comedy Engaging Shaw. Directed by Henry Wishcamper, Engaging Shaw will run July 29 - Sept. 4 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 29 - Aug. 3. According to Whatsonstage.com, Rupert Everett will leave the West End production of PYGMALION on AUguust 15 because of previous television commitments. Stepping into the role of Henry Higgins will be Alistair McGowan, who takes over through September 3. The production opened at the Garrick Theatre on May 25.
