BECKETT TRIPTYCH, BETRAYAL, MORTIDO and More Set for State Theatre Company's 2015 Season

State Theatre Company today announced its 2015 season at a launch held in the Dunstan Playhouse. After a highly successful season to date in 2014, which included 7 Helpmann Award nominations and two wins for the Company's co-production with Windmill Theatre of Pinocchio; sell-out performances and two new box office records, 2015 is set to be another very strong season.

State Theatre Company's season of The Importance of Being Earnest, which closed last Saturday 16 August, has broken the Company's box office record, taking over $424,000 and becoming the highest grossing production in its history. This follows the record-breaking season of Brief Encounter in September last year which was then trumped by that of Neighbourhood Watch in April this year.
