The producers of the Broadway production of ORPHANS, Lyle Kessler's play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, announced today that Ben Foster will join the cast immediately in the role of "Treat." Producers Frederick Zollo and Robert Cole said, "We are delighted that Ben will join Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge when rehearsals commence at ORPHANS tomorrow morning. He is an extraordinarily gifted actor."

MNA Productions, Inc., has anounced that Tony Lo Bianco will bring his award-winning performance as Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia in THE LITTLE FLOWER to Washington D.C. and New York City this winter. Riedel reports that 'She's interested in Logan's play - as yet untitled - because, says a source, "a one-person show isn't as risky as shouldering a big musical." That - and the fact that Mengers is a hell of a character.'

Winning the prestigious Woodward/Newman Award for best play, while being developed at Rogue Machine for their 2012 season, brought with it a fully funded production mounted at the Bloomington Play Project in Indiana. HBO Documentary Films has acquired the U.S. television rights to Tom Donahue's feature documentary film CASTING BY, it was announced today. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday evening to an enthusiastic crowd and will next be screened at the New York Film Festival.
