The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the third time this season to determine the eligibility of 11 Broadway productions for the 2016 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2015-2016 season to decide the eligibility for the 70th Annual Tony Awards.
Just last night, MCC Theater's Miscast gala, an annual highlight of the New York theater season, honored Oscar winning star of stage and screen and MCC alum Marisa Tomei. The gala featured show-stopping performances by Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess; Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Linda Lavin; Tony Award nominee Keala Settle; and stage and screen stars Aaron Tveit, Beth Behrs, Cynthia Erivo, Ana Villafañe, and Shanice Williams.
