Markham Joins ALTAR BOYZ 4/3, '9 To 5' Bound Haskell Exits 3/29

Ken Davenport and Robyn Goodman proudly announce that Lee Markham will take over the role of LUKE beginning April 3rd. Neil Haskell, who was featured on 'So You Think You Can Dance,' will play his last performance as Luke on Sunday, March 29th, when he joins the company of 9 to 5. Austin Lesch will play the role until Lee begins.

Ken Davenport and Robyn Goodman, in association with Walt Grossman, Ruth Hendel, Sharon Karmazin, Matt Murphy and Mark Shacket, proudly announce that Altar Boyz, the acclaimed musical comedy at New World Stages, will celebrate its fourth anniversary on Sunday, March 1st. Altar Boyz opened to acclaim on March 1, 2005 and recently recouped its investment, making it the first Off-Broadway commercial book musical to recoup in years! Capitalized at $1Million, Altar Boyz received unanimous raves, going on to garner seven Drama Desk nominations and winning the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, Off-Broadway.

The event will honor producing maverick Ken Davenport and Arlene Romoff, advocate for open captioning for live theater, at a luncheon benefit on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Caroline's on Broadway. The event, themed 'Believe ... in the possibilities of theater,' begins with a cocktail hour reception at noon followed by a luncheon at 1pm, with entertainment and an awards ceremony to start at 1:45 and a Silent Auction throughout the afternoon.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party has seen it's share of celeb-studded evenings, but on Monday, August 26, the club was jam-packed with showbiz royalty, all entertaining each other at the concert grand piano.
